MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) -- The number of people who have enrolled in health insurance plans through the Vermont Health Connect website is continuing to grow.
As of Thursday, 3,746 people have chosen a health insurance plan through the website and 14,570 people have set up an account.
The number of people who have chosen a plan is up 345 over Wednesday.
It was not immediately clear Thursday how President Barack Obama's decision to allow people to extend for a year their existing health insurance plans would affect the state's efforts to sign people up for health insurance.
Because of problems with the website, the state has agreed to allow people with existing health insurance policies to extend them through March 31.
