Vt. veterans home trustees on board with solar

BENNINGTON, Vt. (AP) -- The Vermont Veterans Home is on board with a solar project that would involve its land.

The home could get up to a 10 percent reduction in its annual electric bill. The solar panels also would power the nearby Bennington State Office Complex.

The Bennington Banner reports ( Cornerstone Renewables of Williston says the array would generate 750,000 kilowatt hours over the course of a year.
