RUTLAND, Vt. (AP) -- Vermont State Police have identified the two troopers and man allegedly shot and wounded by a Leicester (Lester) man.
Forty-seven-year-old Timothy Foley is due to appear in court in Rutland on Monday afternoon to answer a variety of charges stemming from the Sunday morning incident that wounded three.
Police say the incident began at about 3 a.m. Sunday when Foley allegedly went in to a neighbor's home and shot a man in his bed.
Police say 64-year-old Mahlon McCoy was shot in his bed early Sunday morning and he continues to receive medical treatment at Fletcher Allen Medical Center and is in good condition.
The troopers were identified Sgt. Eugene Duplissis and Trooper Matt Daley, of the New Haven barracks.
None of the injuries were life-threatening.
