BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) -- A Colchester police officer has pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol.
Thirty-seven-year-old Officer Jeremy Wyskiel entered the plea Tuesday in court in Burlington and was fined $300 plus $350 in surcharges under the plea deal.
Police say Wyskiel's car was stopped on March 24 on U.S. Route 7 for erratic operation after leaving a Colchester bowling alley.
Wyskiel, who had been on paid administrative leave, is back working full-time for the Colchester Police Department.
Wyskiel's defense attorney said his client has participated in residential treatment in Brattleboro and taken part in other alcohol counseling opportunities.
