CONCORD, N.H. (AP) -- Authorities are still investigating the stabbing death of a young man in Lebanon, Maine, about 20 miles north from where an 18-year-old man was reported missing Saturday.
New Hampshire law enforcement officials announced both the report of the missing teen and the body that was found in Maine. They said that a definitive identification of the victim is expected early this week, but that no other information on the victim's identity was available.
WMUR-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1mefZ9N) family members of the missing teen were told by police it was likely their son.
The New Hampshire Attorney General's office says that the Madbury Police Department received a report about the missing teen from his parent Saturday morning.
Officials say New Hampshire and Maine law enforcement officers are working together.
