Up to 30 displaced by Vermont apartment house fire

BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) — Up to 30 people have been displaced by an early morning fire in a Burlington apartment building.

Firefighters in the Vermont city say the fire started around 3 a.m. Tuesday on the second floor of a multi-unit apartment building on College Street.

There's no immediate word on possible injuries or the cause of the fire.

WCAX-TV (http://bit.ly/1itm5Uk ) reports the Red Cross estimates between 25 and 30 people have been displaced by the fire.
