LOUDON, N.H. (AP) -- Police say a man has been accused of driving into the path of two state troopers directing traffic after the New Hampshire Motor Speedway race, striking one of them, then speeding away and hitting another vehicle.
Police said the trooper was not hurt after he was struck by the front grill of the pickup truck.
Police said 21-year-old Damian Biron of North Sutton failed to stop Sunday, struck a vehicle, then went down southbound route 106 before colliding with a pickup. That vehicle was pushed about 20 feet off the road.
Police said Biron left his truck and tried to flee, but was arrested on charges of reckless conduct, disobeying an officer, and others.
Two other people in Biron's truck were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
