NVDA Hosting Meeting On Raising Capital For Small Business
MONTPELIER -- The Northeastern Vermont Development Association (NVDA) will host an informational meeting on the Vermont Small Business Offering Exemption (VSBOE) and other securities registration exemptions for small businesses to raise capital. Michael Pieciak, deputy commissioner of the Department of Financial Regulation's (DFR) Securities Division, will talk about the new guidelines Thursday, Aug. 21 at 3 p.m. at the NVDA conference room on 36 Eastern Ave. in St. Johnsbury.

Lyndon State College announced administrative changes in the departments of Alumni Affairs and Institutional Advancement. Jenny Kempton Harris '79 has been appointed as the new executive director of development and alumni affairs by Lyndon's President Joe Bertolino. Harris, formerly Lyndon's director of development, will supervise the day-to-day operations and functions of the institutional advancement office. "She is also the point person for alumni affairs," said Bertolino.
