Activity Idea: Community events can be a way to get your family active, walks for causes, 5k run/walks, bike fairs to name a few,. These are a great way to not only be active but also to give back or pass on to your community. Good for kids to get involved in these types of events to develop a sense of community which contributes to good health.
Nutrition Tip: Water is actually the best fluid to keep us or people hydrated for regular sporting or general activities. Sports drinks and energy drinks provide calories and other ingredients that are unnecessary. Unless you are doing extreme training such as for a marathon, your body does not require any other fluid than water. It is understandable that people get tired of drinking plain water or just simply don't like it.
