|The Green Flag Flies at Daytona
The Sprint Unlimited race at Daytona International Speedway is scheduled for February 15. NASCAR RaceDay on FoxSports1 starts at 6:30 p.m. The race is also on FS1 at 8 p.m. with the green flag set to fly at 8:29 p.m. If a TV isn’t handy, tune into Motor Racing Network (MRN) or Sirius XM Satellite NASCAR Radio 90.

|In a Word - Stupid, The Chase is Just Stupid!
All you need to know is, after 35 point-counting races ONLY the 36th and final race of the season will determine the Cup Champion. At that point, four drivers will go into Homestead tied and the highest finisher in that race among those four guys will win the Cup Series title. There will be no bonus points for laps led, so the official finishing position alone will decide the champion. Fact is the Cup champ may finish 17th in the final.

|Returning home January 11 from the American-Canadian Tour banquet, the vehicle with five 27NH team members aboard hit some black ice on Interstate-89. The vehicle spun sideways, making contact with a guardrail and then spun multiple times.|

|NAPA Lands in the Nationwide Series
|In the aftermath of the Richmond Cup race last September, where teams and teammates tried to help out other teammates, NAPA withdrew their sponsorship of Michael Waltrip Racing. That unfairly left Martin Truex Jr. without a ride. Truex Jr. will drive the No. 78 in 2014.|
