|It's Time to Tweak the Cup Playoffs
|Here’s an idea for next year. First off, increase the number of playoff races from 10 to 11. Keep the same 16 driver format, but in order to compete for the title at Homestead you must be one of 16 AND win one of the 10 races leading up to the final. The one added race will be a road course.|

|Raise Your Hand If You Thought Kenseth Should Not Have Been Parked
The press release from NASCAR said Matt Kenseth has been penalized for an infraction that occurred at Martinsville. This is a Behavioral Penalty (Sections 12.1, 12.8). He has been suspended for the next two Cup Series events and placed on probation for six months.

|Was "Days of Thunder" Really a Nonfiction Documentary of NASCAR?
|That movie came out in 1990 and may be the worst racing movie ever made. I remember, about seven minutes into it, I didn’t like it and the more I watched the more I hated it. It made no sense, guys were just running into each other and walling each other. I believe the all-time dumbest phase ever uttered came from that movie – “rubbin’ is racing”. If you haven’t seen it, trust me, don’t rent, it’s really bad. Instead watch the replay from last week’s race at Talladega.|

|Matt Kenseth finished 42nd last weekend at Charlotte while Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished 28th. Kenseth is 32 points behind Brad Keselowski, who occupies the eighth and final transfer in the playoffs. Junior is 19 points behind Keselowski.|
