Lee Messier, 63, of Littleton, N.H., suddenly died Oct. 30, 2012. Born near Seoul, South Korea, in 1948, she was the daughter of Yi Chong-Ku and Yi Wol-Hwa. She emigrated from Korea in 1972.
Lee was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She always put the needs of others above those of her own. She continuously volunteered her time to those who needed it. She enjoyed spending time in her garden, sewing, and walking. What she cherished most was her time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest; a son, Robert Messier, his wife, Sherrie, and their daughter, Katelyn of Franklin, N.H.; two brothers; two sisters; and eight siblings-in-law.
Calling hours will be at Ross Funeral Home, 282 West Main St., Littleton, on Sunday, Nov. 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. A private burial will occur at the convenience of the family.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lee's name to The VFW Post 816 Building Fund, 600 Cottage Street, Littleton, NH 03561.
