Mark Peabody of Peacham, Vt., died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at the age of 50.
He was born in Baltimore, Md., on May 19, 1963, and grew up in Annapolis, Md.
Mark was a special education administrator at Mildred C. Lakeway Elementary School in Littleton, N.H. He loved working with the children of Littleton. Mark had a lifelong passion for nature and the great outdoors. He and his wife Jeannie shared a great love for the North Country. Mark was never happier than when working on his blue tractor on his farm.
Mark is survived by his wife Jeannie (Pope) Peabody of Peacham, Vt.; his stepchildren Elizabeth and Anthony Rodriguez of Matawan, N.J., Laura Jackson of Brighton, Mass., and Robert Jackson of Peacham, Vt.; his mother Priscilla and Robert Schneider of Annapolis, Md.; his father Albert and Kim Peabody of Nottingham, Md.; his sisters Shanna Kahler of Marlton, N.J. and Keri and Kris Penland of Hayes, Va.; his brothers David and Brenda Peabody of Pasadena, Md. and Joshua and Ashley Schneider of Bethesda, Md.; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Mark's life will be held in Littleton, N.H. on Wednesday, June 26 at 11 a.m.at the Mildred C. Lakeway Elementary School located at 325 Union Street, Littleton, NH, 03561.
